Terms of Service

1. Purpose & Scope

These Terms govern the submission and use of your Torn game API key (the "Key") through this portal (the "Service"). By submitting a Key you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Key Usage

The Key will be used exclusively for read-only market data retrieval via the official Torn API. We will not use the Key to perform any in-game actions (attacks, trades, withdrawals etc.). A Key provides access equivalent to the access level you configured in Torn's API settings.

3. Data Collected

We store the following data about your submission:

  • Your Torn player ID and player name (obtained from Torn's API during validation)
  • The API key itself (stored encrypted at rest, never returned in any response)
  • A one-way hash of your IP address (cannot be reversed to your real IP)
  • Submission timestamp
  • Key health metrics (usage, errors, last active date)

We do not collect Discord accounts, emails, or any other personal information.

4. Key Revocation

You may revoke your key at any time by regenerating it in Torn's settings, which immediately invalidates it for our system. You may also contact us directly to have your key removed from our database within 72 hours.

5. Compensation

Compensation (if any) is agreed separately from this portal, typically via Torn in-game transactions. Submission of a Key does not by itself constitute an agreement to any specific payment.

6. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We are not affiliated with Torn or its operators. We accept no liability for losses arising from use or misuse of the Service. We reserve the right to pause or remove keys at any time for abuse, inactivity, or technical reasons.

7. Security

Keys are stored in an encrypted SQLite database on a hardened VPS. Access is restricted to the bot service and the administrator. We apply rate limiting, IP hashing, and other controls described in our security overview.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of a submitted Key after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. The current date of these Terms is March 2026.
